Beautiful!
I'd be all over that horse ride.
Another flawless day on the Costa del Sol with blue skies and a slight breeze to keep it from getting hot.
I had some work to do in the morning, but rushed through it so I could make it out to Málaga proper for lunch (TAPAS!!).
After lunch I decided to climb up to Gibralfaro Castle then work my way down to the Central Historic District. The climb itself was kind of nuts, and I was wishing I had just taken a taxi or tour bus to the top. Instead I ended up tired and with blistered feet. Oh well. The city was a lot of fun to explore, and the perfect weather didn't hurt either.
Just a few of the hundreds of photos I took...

Would have been nice to have even one more day... but I'm grateful for the few days I had.
If you're ever in that area again, take a day trip down to Gibraltar. It's a tiny British overseas territory. Interesting because if nothing else, you go across the border and there are British shops, road signs, traffic lights etc. Rock of Gibraltar was worth going to see as I recall. Again, went there as a wee nipper so memory fuzzy.

Oh god, you're in Spain!!!! Agh!!!! I lived in Málaga for 2 years, but now live in Galicia, north of Spain (my hometown). But just imagining that you're SO close makes me really nervous!! I mean, you have fans in Spain too! Agh!!! I want to meet you and take a picture with you! I've been reading you for YEARS!
Ahh! Beautiful! I wanna go play with Dave II!
**wink** but not that kind of wink. I mean, unless you want it to be that kind of wink. haha!
