Hopefully, my neighbors won't light my condo on fire, but it gets crazy in the streets around my house and in the alley where the garages are. Last year wasn't too bad. I'm hoping for a repeat of that. Happy 4th, Dave!

My grandfather had this great idea to put one of the fireworks in a post which essentially doubles as a launch tube.

Not such a great idea, as it exploded because the thing was too damn deep. We all nearly got showered by firework bits.

I didn't do any fireworks this year. I chose to only drink.

But Utah has a holiday on July 24th. I will most likely do fireworks then. And no homes will be harmed in my pyrotechnical activities.
