Fatigue

Posted on Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Dave!In preparation for my trip tomorrow, I've been working seven days a week, minimum 16-hour days for the past four weeks. To say I'm exhausted would be a gross understatement. I feel like I'm about dead... or at least severely broken. Of course, the cure for that is to spend 18 hours on three flights beginning at 6:00am. Which, by a happy coincidence, is exactly what I'm doing.

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to set my alarm clock for 3:30am to make it to the airport on time.

With that in mind, I hope you'll forgive me if I beg-off blogging tonight and turn-in for bed instead...

Sleepy Dave Teddy

Now if I could only get rid of this strange craving for tacos, I might be able to actually get some sleep tonight. Don't you just hate it when you've got tacos on the brain?

Hope you slept well, my friend.

  4. Paul says:

Hey, I’ve been there . . plenty of late nights when my pillow and blankie were better than even a new iPhone. Well, almost.

  5. Avitable says:

Is the craving for tacos with chocolate syrup?

  13. Lewis says:

You already know of my intense, bone chilling, goose-bump raising jealousy of your adventure. i think it would be much better with me there. As for tacos, we’ll go to Cha Cha Cha when you’re here. Neighborhood, up the street, delicious. I had their veggie tacos the other night with pure delight and giddiness. Be nice to the FAs.

  14. sizzle says:

i crave tacos pretty much daily. welcome to my world!

  15. bogup says:

Just don’t put excessive amounts of salsa on the tacos brain and you should be OK. Sour cream is OK though.
    safe travels…

  16. ajooja says:

I crave fish tacos almost 51 weeks of the year. I eat them about twice a day when I’m in San Diego.

I crave the food at my local Mexican place if I haven’t been there in about three days. It’s nothing special but I love that place.

  17. yellojkt says:

You look so cute in your l’il duckie jammies. Sleep tight.

  18. Paul says:

I think I’ll change my Gravatar

  19. Bec says:

And again… You so cute in your likkle pyjamas. Aw bless.

Right, I’m going to bang myself over the head with a cricket bat now.

  20. Hilly says:

I’ll resist the urge for the double entendre 😉

  21. ChillyWilly says:

If you have Del Taco near by, most are open 24/7. I bet a few tacos (you could get them made with beans instead of meat) would cure the craving.

  22. Göran says:

That´s a long trip. You near Sweden? 🙂
