Marklar!

Dave!Holy Marklar! Today Marklar announced that Marklar will be using Marklar instead of Marklar in their Marklar. I guess that the Marklar were true. As I said, I don't give a Marklar if it means we'll end up with cheaper and faster Marklar.

Also today I finally managed to get my motorcycle back out of storage after over a month of being trapped in cars and planes. The only problem is that I'm not used to riding it. And I'm old. This means I don't ride the motorcycle... the motorcycle rides me. I was out for only a half-hour and feel half-dead... mostly in my legs, which are not used to stretching like that.

In other news... I've decided to rename all the constellations.

Davenightsky

The current names are all Greek gods and stuff, which is kind of boring. I'm going to name them all after myself and stuff I think is cool. Things like "Daveon: The Dave" and "Macinopolis: The Macintosh" and "Lizobethia: The Elizabeth Hurley" and "Cheeseora: The Cheese Sandwich." I'm thinking of keeping "Draco: The Dragon," because that's already kind of cool-sounding.

Next up: I'm renaming all of the mountains and rivers of the world. Oh yeah... and all the countries and cities too. Trust me, it will be much better this way.

Movie Quotable of the Day: "It's not important how many people I've killed... what's important is how I get along with the people who are still alive."
Yesterday's Answer: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992) with Kristy Swanson and Pee-Wee Herman.

Are you going to name one of the constellations "Marklar"?

God, how I love "South Park".

While you're at it, take a shot at our Swedish Towns and cities - the translations are pretty silly as they are today:
Highnose - Höganäs
Housemill - Husqvarna
Crown of country - Landskrona
Livelongtime - Borlänge
Crowd - Skara
Pennybridge - Örebro
Healthyvillagemountain - Sundbyberg
Rivergoal - Åmål
Smallpants - Trosa
Whatstone - Vadstena
Bay of eagleshield - Örnsköldsvik
Heresneezedduck - Härnösand
Castle of friends - Vänersborg
Noselake - Nässjö

Hahahaha, I take it you didn't have much to write about today?

Let the universal domination begin!!!

Can you rename Oslo please?

Call it "Karla".

For that matter, rename many things Karla.

Like, Earth. "Planet Karla". Nice ring to it, no?

My only question about Marklar is, if Apple is going to be using Intel chips now instead of the chips that, as I've understood, were created by Motorola up to now, does this mean that the Mac/Motorola project to create a mobile iTunes for cellphones is now dead?

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

As I understand it, Motorola kind of bailed on the PowerPC thing... it's all IBM now. Even so... the chip-making division of Motorola is a completely separate entity from the mobile phone division, so I don't think you need to worry. :-)

Yes, Peggy... in fact, at least half of the constellations will be named "Marklar." This is because there simply isn't that many things I like well enough to name something after them.

Actually Patrick... if you ignore the translation of those places (which, I admit, are somewhat strange), many of them do have a nice sound to them! I am especially fond of "Smallpants" which would also make a great name for a cat.

Uhhh... I don't know what you mean Mark (changing our web identity are we?)... it doesn't get much better than Marklar!

Yes GirlOnAGlide, my bid for global domination will be followed by universal domination. Rest assured those alien bastards will be next to pay!! Mutilate our cattle and violate our farms with crop circles?? Not on my watch, baby.

Sorry Karla, but Daveslo, Daveway has already been claimed. If it's any consolation, I'm happy to give you Kristiansand... now known as Karlansand. Ha ha ha... I jest... it's Davensand.
