Dave! So long suckers! I'm off to meet up with some friends in the U.K., and then I'm off to Germany (and the Netherlands) with a fellow Hard Rock fanatic for a run through a good chunk of Europe's Hard Rock Cafes. After months of non-stop work and business travel, I am pretty happy to finally be getting a bit of a vacation...

Neil: Consider yourself waved at when we drive by! -- Jenny: That's why I'm here, so I certainly plan on it, thanks! -- Tonya: Isn't Cardiff-by-the-Sea in California? I remember eating at a really posh restaurant there. If you are meaning the original Cardiff (that IS on the sea, isn't it?), I will be sure to tell her. :-)

Yes, there's one in California - but we've always called the original Cardiff that, too.. a traditional family thing from way back (before I ever knew there was one in CA) :)

There's one in Heidelberg Germany also. I have their shirt but I don't ever see them listed on the official sites.

There is also one in Frankfurt. We might be stopping at these "unofficial renegade cafes" along the way, but since it's only the "real" cafes that count, we might have to skip them if we're running late.
