Theme Thursday: Strain
I'm relatively free of stress and strain because I just don't let it get to me. That being said, there is something about being in any tall building in New York City that is enough to strain your nerves a bit. We just don't have buildings this tall in Cashmere, Washington! This is the somewhat scary view from the 42nd floor of my hotel...
Of course, the honking horns of impatient New York drivers doesn't help. I was greatly amused to see this sign, because asking a New Yorker not to honk is like asking a fish not to swim...
Good bye NYC. :-(

Is there even a three-story building in Cashmere? Not counting basements.
I honestly don't know. Looking downtown, you wouldn't think so... I live in hicksville I tell you!
That's an awesome view and terrific signage, i hope drivers would take notice of that:)
You do live in Hicksville. I was from the big city compared to you. We had/have a MALL. You have a museum with creepy dead animals but I do like the creepy dead village. Do they still have that? I have to take the kids by there soon.
Oh yes, of course! Cashmere wouldn't be Cashmere unless we had a freaky museum filled with odd dead things! So, by all means, if you want to traumatize your children for life... pack up the family and head on over!!
